Feb. 15 – Library Lovers’ Day

Library Lovers’ Day is observed annually on February 15. . It celebrates the role of libraries and librarians and promotes reading and literacy. The day was first observed in Australia in 1963 and later in the United States. Libraries and librarians across the country host special events and activities to mark the occasion.
