Feb. 9 – National Pizza Day

National Pizza Day is celebrated on February 9th each year. This delicious holiday was most likely started in the 10th century in Naples, Italy when the first records of modern-day pizza appeared. It was simply a flatbread covered in sauce, spices, and cheese. Over the years, pizza has evolved into the dish we know and love today, and we now have a whole day to enjoy it!
