Jan.12 – KISS A GINGER DAY

The day was created by Canadian entrepreneur Derek Forgie in 2009, as a “celebration of red hair and all things ginger”.
To participate, people of all hair colors are encouraged to kiss a redhead. Forgie has said that the holiday is meant to be light-hearted and playful and that it is not intended to be exclusionary. So get out there and pucker up for your favorite ginger!
**Word of caution: If you didn’t already know it, you should obtain permission before kissing anyone who doesn’t expect it!
