March 30 – Doctors Day

In 1933, Dr. Crawford W. Long used ether anesthesia for the first time, and on the first anniversary of this event, the holiday of Doctors’ Day was born in Winder, Georgia. Every year on March 30, we honor this holiday by appreciating the physicians who help save our lives. We are grateful for all the doctors who have dedicated their lives to mastering their field of expertise, and we continue to celebrate medical advances like the ones Dr. Long made. Thank you, doctors, for everything you do!
